More Info:

This live concert, recorded at the Harmonie, Bonn for Crossroads, Rockpalast, on 20 October 2011, was a very special moment in the career of the legendary keyboard wizard Brian Auger. Having essentially retired from large scale touring by the early 1980s, it wasn't until the mid-1990s, when his music was rediscovered, sampled and reissued by the Acid Jazz generation, that Brian Auger put together a new Oblivion Express band and went back on the road to be greeted with an ecstatic reception wherever he and his trusty Hammond B3 organ appeared. This continued for the next 10 years, as the new Oblivion Express, featuring his son Karma on drums and daughters Ali and then Savannah on vocals, played 1970s jazz-fusion classics to audiences of original and new fans. However, one question was repeatedly asked by enthusiastic fans, promoters, radio and press people alike - 'why don't you play any of the music by Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll & The Trinity live?' Prompted by this question, it was Karma who spoke to his father and suggested that it would be an excellent time to reconfigure their live shows and hit the road as 'The Trinity. ' The result is what you're experiencing now! Recorded and filmed at the Harmonie in Bonn for Crossroad, Rockpalast in 2011, this electrifying performance showcases Auger's daughter, vocalist Savannah Grace, bassist Les King and son Karma Auger on drums.
