Vestiva: not only our red thread throughout thealbum, referring to one of our favourite madrigalhits Vesti va i colli, but also a metaphorical motto:"dressing up" the music with colours, diminutions,trilli, accenti... (as the hills, the colli, in the originalmadrigal text are dressed up with fl owers) inthe balancing act of pure fl exibility and absolutepunctuality or momentum - creating spoken"words" with a minimal, reduced instrumentationand without actual sung text.Working in this minimal, fragile and intimateinstrumental setting with lute, harp and recorderswhile trying to reach maximum expression is anabsolute challenge and pure joy.
