Deluxe two disc (CD + PAL/Region 2 DVD) edition of this 1986 album from the British producer/songwriter. Based on Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem of the same name. Batt added lyrics and music around Carroll's prose to create a truly singular musical experience. The CD is the original audio recording with a heavyweight cast of Art Garfunkel, Roger Daltrey, George Harrison, Stephane Grappelli, Sir John Gielgud, John Hurt, Captain Sensible, Deniece Williams, Julian Lennon and Sir Cliff Richard. The DVD is a specially shot live costumed performance from the Royal Albert Hall in 1987 where Midge Ure replaced George Harrison, Justin Hayward replaced Art Garfunkel and with Billy Connolly in place of Cliff Richard.
